One day like this a year could see me right. But mote than one would be better if it's not too much to ask.

Part of a mural in Cordoba. They really do excellent an mural in Spain
I've been working today because it's all gone tits in my part of the world. Although I've not been in the office, the white Christmas mixed with a work outlook seems fitting. Dedicating this to those who have to work & be away from their families and would rather be at home. My work is light & quickly done but others are pulling out all the stops. For that, I salute you.
I don't hold much truck with excitement about the weather. It's just like rain only frozen & a billion times more annoyingly disruptive. I guess it is kinda pretty, though.
Okay, so the resort might be tacky but with your back to the promenade the view's pretty lovely
When Spanish buildings fall derelict, they leave no opportunity for return. Maybe someday someone will cut out this bricked-up window & make it useable again
A view up a side alley in Malaga. Alleys are where all the good stuff is to be found in Spain, it seems.
The outlook from my cousin's roof terrace - the last Cordobese thing I saw before hauling my bag back to the station to head to Malaga. How's that for a view?
What immortal hand or eye could frame thy fearful symmetry?
For now, we leave all this behind. The temperature this morning was -8 degrees Celsius; where we're going it's about 16 degrees warmer. So long for now.
Then I went to the kitchen, saw the 2" of lying snow & went "oh yeah, I remember..."
Maxi on our lawn this summer. We do have two cats. It's just that this one's the only one who stays still long enough to be photographed.
I've been remiss the past few days with posting but as an excuse I offer my succumbing to a consumptive fever. No, really.
The hotel I'm staying in this weekend is the weirdest I've ever been in. Last night I put my water bottle down on the floor & it rolled toward the door. The girls I'm staying with call it The Wonky House. I can see why
Woken by a massive downpour I realised I'd skipped posting for two days. For shame. And now, back to sleep
